Scotty McCoy (Born on December 6, 1989) is a published author whose works include "The Ultimate Friday the 13th Trivia Book,” "The Ultimate Halloween Trivia Book," "The Ultimate Halloween Trivia Book, 2nd Edition," and "Christ Defeats Cancer," the latter of which is on the New York Times Best Seller’s List. All three books are available on Amazon and at Wal Mart and Barnes and Noble. He is also currently working on "The Ultimate Nightmare on Elm Street Trivia Book," "The Ultimate Slasher Movie Encyclopedia," "Samhain," "All Hallows’ Eve: The Meaning Behind Halloween," "Christ Defeats Cancer 2: The Battle Continues," and "A College Murder Mystery: Scientific Death."

In addition to writing the books he has and is, Scotty is a professional editor who has edited Marcus Moutra’s five book series on "The Fairy Squad Princesses: A Magical Awakening," as well as up and coming authors, Steve and Jeanette Seitzinger’s medical joke book titled "I Laughed So Hard My Doctor Got Sick."

Scotty got into writing by writing essays, poems, short stories, plays, etc. in high school, and in college, he got an A in his English Composition course, as well as an average of a B+ in his English, writing, and literature courses between the grades of 9th through 12th grades. He even got an A in his advanced writing course at Champlain College, which the course was appropriately named Critical and Analytical Writing. Scotty even tutored various creative writing, literature, and English courses throughout college to help struggling college students with courses in those topics, as well as advanced Web/Software Development and Computer Information Systems courses.

Scotty is an avid professional wrestling fan, as well as a die-hard fan of the hit ABC television series, Once Upon a Time. Scotty’s dream was to meet actress Lana Parrilla who played The Evil Queen on Once Upon a Time and got to live that dream when he met her on October 28, 2018 at a convention in Whippany, New Jersey. Born and raised in Ashland, Pennsylvania, Scotty knows what it is like to live in a small town community, but with hard work and struggles due to bullying after a diagnosis of Tourette’s Syndrome, has proved that he was and is able to overcome adversity when he became a famous and published author through hard work and triumph, proving anything is possible if you never give up and keep on trying to live your dreams because Scotty is the embodiment of living the dream, even when people said he was wishfully thinking and living in a fantasyland. Scotty proved to those who doubted him that he can become successful, and now has fans from around the world asking for his autograph.
